 Partner in Pet Food  Engineering Manager  Europe  7/2011 - present
· Responsible for leading, managing, implementing and commissioning of selected key projects in pet food production facilities across Europe with project budgets of up to €20 million per year. Involved in profit improvement projects, labor reduction, robotics & automation, lean manufacturing, production cost reduction.

· Project scope includes development and commissioning of new robotized production lines with the complete infrastructure – buildings, roads, bridges, transformer stations, cooling towers, steam boilers, sewage cleaning plants, utility lines, and the pet food production technology - including the meat processing equipment, emulsifiers, grinders, ovens, autoclaves, pouch fillers, robots, flex pickers, shuttles, palletizers, conveyors, elevators, packaging lines.

· Management of the designers, authorities, equipment suppliers, contractors, stakeholders, plant representatives, tendering, contract negotiation, governance of regular meetings, claims and dispute resolutions.

 Lighthouse Group  Project Manager  Czech Republic  12/2007 - 12/2010
· Managed development and execution of a USD 80 million Prague Green City project (Zelene Mesto I) consisting of 440 residential units in seventeen multistory buildings and large infrastructure including road network, public utility lines, power lines, and district heating network.

· Completed the project ahead of time and under its initial budget, and awarded the Best of Realty 2010 prize.

· Led internal teams and outsourced capacities and communicated with the stakeholders, designers, contractors, clients, government bodies and local municipality authorities.

· Responsible for project close-up and claims management on behalf of the AFI Europe developer of the Korunni dvur, a luxury 255-unit residential project downtown Prague.

 Hill International Inc.  Project Controls Manager  Dubai, UAE  03/2006 - 04/2007
· Led an international team of engineers and other specialists responsible for development and implementation of project procedures and systems to plan, manage, and control project resources like cost, time, equipment, labor, and documents for Tatweer’s Bawadi project, a USD 26 billion hospitality and tourism development with the world’s largest hotel with 6500 rooms.

· Employed several project management platforms for project collaboration and communication during all project phases from master planning to construction.

 Perini Corporation  Program Engineer  Iraq & Kuwait  11/2003 - 02/2006
· Worked as a Program Controls Engineer in Iraq and Kuwait on two US Army Corps of Engineers’ programs worth $350 million and additional $500 million, respectively, to restore 400kV powerlines, 33/11kV substations and to rehabilitate 40 - 300MV gas turbine power plants damaged during the war in Iraq.

· Responsibilities included the development of program management plans, work breakdown structures, document coding systems, electronic document and submittal control systems for remote sites, cost and progress reporting systems, risk management systems, and the cost-loaded master schedules. Monitoring and reporting of all phases of the programs from proposal to commissioning; Cooperating in administration of subcontracts and evaluation of claims.

 Perini Corporation  Project Field Engineer  Czech Republic  07/2002 - 11/2003
· Worked as Office/Field Engineer at the security upgrade of the American Embassy in Prague with the 5.5 million USD budget funded by the Overseas Building Operations (OBO) of the Department of State (DoS).

· Assisted Site Project Manager and QA Manager.

· Provided technical coordination of the construction process, supervision, communication, and translation between Perini and local contractors, laborers, security, and embassy personnel.

· Responsible for submittals, shop, and as-built drawings.

· Negotiated local subcontracts and evaluated claims.

 Academy of Sciences  Office Engineer  Czech Republic  03/2001 - 08/2002
· Worked full-time at the Czech Academy of Sciences, Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.

· Dealt with Simulation Based Reliability Assessment (SBRA) method based on the Limit State Method and the Monte Carlo Simulation technique.

· Worked as an Organizing Committee Manager of the international conference Euro-SiBRAM'2002 (Reliability of Structures)
